The unframed canvas print is made with the help of a gallery-wrapping technique and also in the process. Moreover, in the process canvas is wrapped around the stretcher bars and secured to the frame. Some people remain confused between whether to choose acrylic prints or canvas prints.

The acrylic print can be said as the direct printing on to the material and then mounting it on the acrylic. Also, prints adhere to 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or 1″ acrylic in front of the print. Furthermore, face mounting can be a difficult process which can be quite expensive. Also, we have a Dibond backer with the print that is sandwiched in between.

 Also, acrylic prints are constructed mainly in two processes in which the first prints are responsible for printing the image directly on acrylic and is painted with a black coating. And the second process is known as face amount in which the image is printed onto the paper which is sandwiched behind the acrylic.

Canvas Prints

The canvas prints have been on the canvas print for a long period by using an offset printing process but it has become the less popular choice than the acrylic prints.

Durability is one of the major advantages of printing images on acrylic. Also, it provides UV protection depending on the type of material.
